Hello, I have been a backyard engineer for many years, however when I realized that winters were getting shorter and as I grew into skiing and snowboarding I decided that I should build my own ski hill in the backyard to be able to practice as it took a few hours of driving to get to the closest hill.  So I starting looking around at how snow was made when I did get out to the ski areas, and with some help, designed these instructions to save others the trouble I went through.  That is also why we are looking into getting the parts that were harder to find up onto this site so that it will be easier for people in the future to build their own snow guns.
